Ron E.M. Clouzet, D.Min., Th.D. (ABD)

Ron E. M. Clouzet, D.Min., Th.D. (ABD), obtained a B.A. in Ministerial Studies and French from La Sierra University (USA) in 1980. He received an M.Div. degree from Andrews University in 1985, and a Doctor of Ministry degree (D.Min.) from Fuller Theological Seminary in 1997. He did post-doctoral work for a Th.D. degree in Systematic Theology at the University of South Africa.
Dr. Clouzet began service for the church as a pastor in California, USA. He pastored for 13 years. Then, he became a professor of practical theology at Southern Adventist University, in the USA, and also served as Dean of the School of Religion there, from 2000 to 2006. During his leadership, the school's Pierson Institute for Evangelism and World Missions trained hundreds of university students who led over 5,000 people to baptism.
In 2007, he became the Ministerial Association Secretary for the North American Division, as well as the Director of the NAD Evangelism Institute. He continued in that last post until 2016. During that time, he was the speaker for the NET11 Satellite effort that involved 700 churches and led some 8,000 souls to baptism.
In 2015, he was elected Ministerial Association Secretary for the NSD. He will begin his responsibilities in the spring of 2016. Dr. Clouzet, and his wife, Dr. Lisa Clouzet, have three adult children living in the USA.

Dr. Lisa Clouzet was born and raised in Iowa, in the Midwestern section of the United States. She graduated from Andrews University with a B.S. in Speech Pathology and Audiology, and went on to obtain an M.S. in Community Counseling and an M.A. in Religious Studies, both from Southern Adventist University. Lisa completed her D.Min. at Andrews University.
Dr. Lisa Clouzet served as a chaplain and counselor for several years in the Chattanooga, Tennessee, area where she worked with a variety of clients in the educational and healthcare systems. In 2007, she became the Director of the Seminary Spouses in Ministry at the North American Division Evangelism Institute, where she also served as Assistant Professor of Ministry and Chaplaincy at the SDA Theological Seminary at Andrews University. Lisa mentored, coached, and counseled seminary student spouses and taught in the Christian Ministry Department of the Seminary.
Lisa is married to Ron Clouzet, Ministerial Association Secretary of NSD. They have two grown sons and a daughter—Christoffer, Alex, and Stefani.
