The NSD Introduces Music Ministries

On October 27, 2004, the Northern Asia-Pacific Division (NSD) Executive Committee voted to introduce “Music Ministries.” Pastor Joshua (Dong Hee) Shin was appointed as coordinator of the music ministries. Pastor Shin, director of children and youth department of the NSD, has been directing the Golden Angels as a music director since January, 2004. The Golden Angels was organized for supporting mainly the Pioneer Mission Movement (PMM) in the NSD territory.  

Dr. Jairyong Lee, president of the NSD, said, “Music is a powerful tool to influence people in this modern age. As we have already known how wonderful role the Golden Angels have played in evangelism, music can make a difference for our ministries.” 

“Also, as the General Conference Executive Committee voted the Adventist Music Philosophy Guidelines in an October 12 Annual Council meeting. I hope this newly established Music Ministries can guide music matter in our NSD territory as a powerful evangelistic tool,” Dr. Lee added.  (....go to the Golden Angels)
