A women’s evangelism group from the Middle-West Korean Conference helped Miaoli Church in Taiwan supporting it’s evangelistic series June 20-25, 2005. Through their sacrificial love and dedication, the Miaoli Church could record the first baptism since PMM pastor Chai Kwang Byong began planting the church three months ago.
Twenty members of the group started the meetings with a season of fasting prayer in the early morning hours of June 20. They also began each day with a dawn prayer meeting, and they visited people house to house and distributed handbills. They witnessed Jesus Love with singing on streets corners, visiting the elderly at some nursing home, massage services, and healthy-cooking classes for the community. The group gave 1.3 million won from their own pockets to purchase two air conditioners for the meeting place. One of the team members donated a van.
During the six-day meetings, presentations on ‘Health and Gospel’ were give by pastor Im, Cheon Hyuk from the Middle-West Korean Conference. Ms. Hong, In Sun provided translations for the meetings and the evangelistic teams’ activities. On Sabbath, June 25, two new souls got baptized and all the attendees rejoiced in experiencing the Holy Spirit in their heart.
