Four new souls received baptism during a recent evangelistic meeting at Seto Church June 24-27 in Japan where PMM Pastor Song, Eul Sub is serving the Lord. They praised the Lord saying “It is a miracle” as it is the first baptismal ceremony since the current church building was constructed 11 years ago.

The first baptismal ceremony was conducted for Mr. Murakomo Kenji and Mrs. Chung, Jeong Ok. Mrs. Chung, who has been attending the Seoul SDA Japanese Language Institute Church, was one of 18 people from the church and the SDA Language School who came to support the meetings.

Secondly, Mr. Tsutomu Dakai and his wife Kim, Kyung Sook were baptized after attending the health seminars which were offered during the meetings. At the beginning of June when church members handed Mr. Dakai a brochure which had a warning message about smoking, he responded to the message positively. His wife who is originally from Korea, Kim said “I have never met any Korean for 17 years. If I knew that there was a Korean Pastor in Seto Church, I would be come to church with my husband.”

With the help of the evangelism group from Korea, Korean and English language classes, Health seminars, and vegetarian cuisine classes were offered to attract people to church. Kim, Jong Geun, the Japanese Language School Church Pastor, delivered sermons during the meetings.
