The Asiatic Division, organized in 1909, changed to the Far Eastern Division in 1919 and the Asia-Pacific Division later. In 1997, the Asia-Pacific Division was divided into two divisions; the Northern Asia-Pacific Division (NSD) was placed in Ilsan, Goyang city, Korea, while the Southern Asia-Pacific Division was settled in Silang, Cavite, Philippines.
The NSD office was located on the 5th, and 7th floor of Samhee Plaza near Juyeop Station, Ilsan, Korea, and then moved to its current location in Paju city, Korea, in July 2020. As there is a freeway from Imjingak, Korea, to Gaesung City, North Korea, we expect the new headquarter will take an essential role as a missionary base for mission work in North Korea.
